Location
The picturesque village of Piesenkam is situated on a slight hill, surrounded by extensive meadows and fields and the Alps rising gracefully in the distance. As early as the 8th century, the farmer Poaso recognized the beauty of this spot and settled there. The development of the village, which has around 300 inhabitants, is characterized by two-storey farmhouses and courtyards with block-built upper floors, eaves-side arbours and partially boarded gabled arbours, which has allowed it to retain its traditional and distinctive character to this day.
